Destiny 2000 Limited beat reigning champion Bangladesh Biman by 2½-1½ points in the 3rd round game of the Dutch-Bangla Bank 1st Division Chess League-2007, sponsored by Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited. Ziaur Rahman of Biman drew with IM Enamul Hossain Razib of Destiny, FM Minhazuddin Ahmed and FM Taibur Rahman Sumon beat FM Mehdi Hasan Parag and FM Abu Sufian Shakil of Biman respectively. GM Abdullah Al Rakib of Biman beat FM Sk. Nasir Ahmed of Destiny. Pritam Prijam Chess Club is still leading the points table with 11 points.They beat i2 soft Solution by 4-0 points. Leonine Chess Club beat Faith Chess Club by 4-0 points. GM Neelotpal Das, IM Sriram Jha, GM Niaz Murshed and Abdul Maleq of Leonine beat Nasiruddin Mahmood, Masudur Rahman Bari, Moshtafizur Rahman and Zohirul Islam of Faith club respectively. Chittagong Mohammadan Sporting Club beat Dhaka University Chess Club by 2½-1½ points. Kh. Kayes Hasan of University beat Indian IM Roktim Bandyopadhyay of Mohammadan , Moshtafa Manjur of University drew with FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman. IM Saptarshi Roy and Saifuddin Lavlu of Chittagong Mohammadan beat Dewan Md. Riad and Samiun Basir of Dhaka University respectively.Mohakhali Prodip Sangah beat Toyota Motors Chess Club by 3-1 points, Sultana Kamal Smiriti Pathaghar beat Sonali Bank Sports & Recreation Club by 3-1 points, Farashgonj Sporting Club drew with Friends Chess Power by 2-2 points.
