GM Zaiur Rahman, GM Abdullah Al Rakib, FM Abu Sufian Shakil of Biman beat Gyesuddin Ahmed Mithu, Din Mohammad and Mahbubur Rahman of Sonali Bank respectively. Somak Palit of Sonali Bank drew with FM Mehdi Hasan Parag of Biman. Reigning runners-up Leonine Chess Club beat Sultana Kamal Smiriti Pathagar by 4-0 points. GM Neelotpal Das, IM Sriram Jha, GM Niaz Murshed and FM Kh. Aminul Islam of Leonine beat Uten, Syed Abdul Zaker, Nasiruddin Apu and Sharmin Sulatan Shirin of Sultana Kamal respectively. Destiny 2000 Limited beat Dhaka University Chess Club by 3-1 points. IM Enamul Hossain Razib¸ FM Taibur Rahman and Debaraj Chatterjee of Destiny beat Alimul Haque Kazal, Dewan Md. Riad and Samiun Basir of University respectively. Sk. Anwar Hossain of Dhaka University beat FM Sk. Nasir Ahmed of Destiny. Chittagong Mohammadan Sporting Club beat i2 sift Solution Ltd. by 4-0 points. IM Roktim Bandyopadhyay, IM Saptarshi Roy, FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman and Mohammad Ali of Chittagong Mohammadan beat Nahid Parvej, Obaidul Islam, Amirul Islam Chowdhury and Shahjahan Kabir of i2 soft respectively. Farashgonh Sporting Club beat Toyota Motors Chess Club by 2½-1½ points.
