1st UK Probashi open International Rating Chess Tournament
1st UK Probashi open International Rating Chess Tournament, organised by Bangladesh Chess Player’s Cheritable Foundation, sponsored by Bangladeshi Chess players of overseas of UK will start from 3rd November Monday from 3:00 PM at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room. It’s an open event for all chess players. Interested chess players can enroll their name on or before 1st November 2008 at Bangladesh Chess Federation office with entry fee. The event will be held in 9 round Swiss-League system and total forty thousand taka will be given to the winners as cash prize money.

Good Initiative, we are sending another probashi to uk tomorrow. last sunday we bade farewell to ex national ziaul qader tuhin who is moving to uk with hsmp. so more tournaments next year.
5 of us ex ymcpa met for 5 hours and reflected on our life and chess 16-21 years back.
Hello Kayes bhai! I met Tuhin bhai and his wife at the Dhaka airport and flew together upto Doha! We met after a long time and don't know when we'll meet again!!
এটা কোন তুহিন? জিয়াউল কাদের তুহিন? জিয়াউল কাদের তুহিন। চতুর্থ KDH দাবা প্রতিযোগিতা ১৯৮৮। বাংলাদেশ দাবা ফেডারেশনের ক্রীড়া কক্ষে আমার প্রথম টুর্ণামেন্টের প্রথম প্রতিদ্বন্দী। তারপর দ্বিতীয় বিভাগ দাবা লীগ, বিভিন্ন স্থানীয় টুর্ণামেন্ট। তুহিনকে আমি জুরাইনের একটি প্রতিযোগিতায় একবার হারিয়েছিলাম শুধু। আজ ১৭টি বছর তুহিনের কোন খবর নাই। FIDE-র ওয়েবসাইটেও তুহিনের নাম নাই। সে কি এখন আর খেলে না? সেই সাথে মনে পড়ে মিন্টু, জুবায়দা গুলশান আরা, খন্দকার আমিনুল ইসলাম। আমরা তখন চিকেন বয়েসী দাবারু ছিলাম। একদিন হয়তো আবার দেখা হবে সবার সাথে।
