Abdullah Al Saif, Mosabbir Khan Shiblu of Narayangonj are jointly lead inthe points table with 7 points each after end of the 8th round games of the28th National Sub-Junior (Under-16 years) Boys and Girls ChessChampionship-2008 is now being held at the Bangladesh Chess Federationhall-room. They are: Nazmus Shakib of Kushtia is in 2nd position with 6½
points each. 7 players are sharing 3rd position with 6 points each. Theyare: Rakib Hasan Rana, Kh. Ashiqul Islam, Arifa Khatun Moni, MohammadFahim, Md. Ashrafuzzaman, Md. Masudur Rahman and Rashel Hossain. 8th roundgames were held yesterday (Wednesday). In the 8th round: Shiblu beat Rana,Saif beat Amir, Shakib beat Abir, Ashiq beat Siam, Moni beat MainuddinAhmed Asis, Fahim beat Sayebul Islam, Ashraf beat Saidul Islam, Masud beatArnob and Rashel beat Masum Miah. 9th round games will start today(Thursday) from 4:00 PM at the same venue.

3 players are sharing lead in the points table with maximum 6 points each after end of the 7th round games of the 28th National Sub-Junior (Under-16 years) Boys and Girls Chess Championship-2008 is now being held at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room. They are: Abdullah Al Saif, Mosabbir Khan Shiblu and Rakib Hsasan Rana. 3 players are in 2nd position with 5½ points each. They are: Shah Md. Shahidul Alam Abir, Amirul Islam and Nazmus Shakib. 7th round games were held yesterday (Tuesday). In the 7th round: Shiblu beat Abir, Saif beat Asiqul Islam, Rakib beat Ikramul Haque Siam, Shakib beat Masum Miah and Amir drew with Rashel Hossain. 8th round games will start today (Wednesday) from 4:00 PM at the same venue.
